Due to a full order book, we are now recruiting for a Customer Service Engineer to join our customer Service team.
Working in conjunction with the Customer Service and the Design team, you will be responsible for ensuring our product receive the highest level of support
Working on own initiative and as part of a team, your main duties will include,
Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Office based support for servicing and commissioning of all Mallaghan Ground Support equipment.
  • Providing technical support to Customers and Service Engineers.
  • Travel to customer premises to trouble shoot and resolve both electrical and mechanical faults on our machine, as required.
  • Carry out service tasks on Ground Support Equipment in line with company customer service, quality and health and safety standards.
  • Working closely with our customers and using their feedback to identify and implement solutions that enhance our product offering.
  • Ensure data integrity within Salesforce Customer Resource Management (CRM)
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time, including discretional overtime.
To be successful in this role our ideal candidate will have:
  • A UK recognised electrical/mechanical qualification (minimum level 3 equivalent or above)
  • A strong working knowledge of repairing automotive vehicles or machinery.
  • A working knowledge of electrics, hydraulics and control systems.
  • Be able to understand technical procedures and electrical/mechanical engineering drawings.
  • A basic PLC I/O understanding would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Candidates must hold a full driving license, passport and be able to pass any security-based checks required to gain access to regional airports.
