As a result of our continued success, we are now recruiting for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team.

You will be responsible for assisting the Head of Design on managing a team of engineers. You will plan and supervise the design projects and lead the team to continued success.

Working on own initiate you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Engineering team. Your duties will include but not limited to;

  • Meeting with Head of Design and other relevant departments to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs.
  • Assignment of engineer resources to ensure projects meet required deadlines.
  • Ensuring engineering systems and components are installed to the correct standards and quality.
  • Reporting on project progress to all departments especially the Design, Project Management and Procurement Departments.
  • Carrying out risk analysis of projects at different stages.
  • Being an advocate for Health & Safety awareness, by leading by example and ensuring that the team is consistently following H&S requirements.
  • Keeping up to date with new technologies and engineering techniques.
  • Communicating and delivering any additional targets as required by the Head of Design.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required in support of the Head of Design.

Our ideal candidate will be educated to degree or HND/HNC level. Practical experience and or industry recognised training is also desirable. You will have experience of project management within the Engineering and Manufacturing industry. You should have strong IT skills, including MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience in Solidworks is desirable but not essential.

In addition, to your technical skills you should have the ability to think logically, be well organised and have strong planning skills. You should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
