CHARIS Cancer Care, Mallaghan’s Charity Partner 2016

Mallaghan is delighted to announce that CHARIS Cancer Care has been nominated as charity partner of the year 2016.

CHARIS Cancer Care, located within the picturesque and tranquil setting of Lough Fea, County Tyrone, aims to provide person-centred care for individuals and their families affected by cancer from diagnosis onwards. The service is delivered through an individualised, integrated, and free of charge programme, providing complementary therapies and psychological support. CHARIS Integrated Cancer Care works in conjunction with clinical treatments for cancer and offer comfortable treatment rooms, purpose-designed for the delivery of complementary therapies by trained practitioners free of charge.

CHARIS staff endeavour to offer clients every form of support that is possible. Their role is to listen and help and to provide a warm and nurturing environment, with support from experienced professionals and therapists.

Various fundraising activities will be announced throughout the year in order to support this very worthwhile charity.
