Over the last number of months, Mallaghan, through its Culture journey, has prioritised mentoring for the successful Attraction, Engagement, and Development of its Apprentices.
Earlier in the year, Mallaghan invested in the professional development of three of its staff – Laura, Richie and Larissa – by encouraging them to attend the MEGA Mentor Training. This gained them an ILM level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management with a focus on Mentoring and Culture.
Since then, with the support of Senior Leaders and the Board of Management, they have designed and implemented a Mentor Programme that is tailored to ‘fit’ with the Mallaghan Values of Innovation, People, Partnership, and Efficiency.
Mentoring Is designed for both the Mentee and Mentor to benefit and although early days, it is clear that this is the case!
The Mallagan Mentors look forward to encouraging its Apprentices to set their goals and to help them to achieve these.
