Mallaghan, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of airport ground support equipment, has been shortlisted for four prestigious accolades at the Made in Northern Ireland Awards.
In addition to being named a finalist in the ‘Manufacturing Apprenticeship Training Scheme’, three of Mallaghan’s apprentices, Breandan McCann, Ethan Magowan, and Orla Donnelly, have been shortlisted in the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ category.
Hosted by Insider Media, the distinguished awards celebrate manufacturing and engineering companies across Northern Ireland that are committed to excellence and quality.

Mallaghan currently employs 25 apprentices at its Dungannon-based headquarters and has unveiled plans to create 30 new positions in response to sustained customer demand across its expansive product range, which has seen order values exceed pre-pandemic levels.
